A Das Maha Vidhya Puja is highly beneficial and it is dedicated to the worship of Divine Mother Shakti since actually Das Maha Vidhyas are 10 incarnations of Divine Mother Shakti similar to the 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Hence, worshipping of Das Maha Vidhya is very Auspicious and believed to be highly rewarding. There are several different legends regarding the origin of Das Maha Vidhyas in Ancient Hindu Mythology and Texts like Tantra Shashtras, Durga Saptashati, Kaalika Purana, Narad Purana and Markandeya Purana. The 10 incarnations of Shakti are extremely powerful and capable of dispelling all evils of the universe.

These 10 forms of Shakti are also representative of 9 planets and Lagna. This Das Maha Vidhya Puja is done by establishing Yantras of all Das Maha Vidhyas which are Kaali, Tara, Tripursundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Tripurbhairavi, Baglamukhi, Chhinnamasta, Dhoomavati, Matangi and Kamla around Sri Yantra. The combined blessings of all these forms of Goddess can make a person’s life Happier, Healthier and Wealthier with Peace and Prosperity

Puja Procedure

Swasti Vachan, Shanti Path, Sankalp, Ganesh Sthapan, Kalash Sthapan, Das Maha Vidhya Sthapan, Navgrah Sthapan, Brahma Sthapan, Agni Sthapan, Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses, Navgrah Mantra Japa (1 mala for each planet), Punyaha Vachan Kalash Pujan, Chhetrapal Mandal Pujan, Chausath Yogini Pujan, Das Maha Vidhya Yantra Pujan, Das Maha Vidhya Pujan, Das Maha Vidhya Mantra Japa & Kavach Recitation, Homam with Ghee, Sugar, Til, Oats (Jow), Ashtagandh, Sandalwood powder, Navgrah Samidha and then Purnahuti, Aarti, Prasad to Brahmins.

Duration of Puja : 7 to 8 hours on each day
